OUR SALES COUNSELOR POSITION
The primary focus for our Sales Counselor is leading and executing the sales and marketing efforts, lead generation, and cultivation to achieve the key results for the assigned residence.  The Sales Counselor is supervised by the VP of Sales and works closely with executive directors and department managers, directors, residents, families, referral sources, community and other sales team members as needed. This position has no direct reports.

This position is based at 6121 Montrose Rd, Rockville, MD

SHIFTS & STATUS
This is a FULL TIME, EXEMPT position.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage sales of Ring House independent living and Landow House assisted living services. 
  • Effectively communicate to prospective residents and their families CESLC’s continuum of care and value proposition.
  • Maintain knowledge of all CESLC services and products to provide accurate and timely information for prospective leads. 
  • Maintain knowledge of key admissions criteria/processes as related to decision points for prospective candidates.
  • Achieve positive results and occupancy targets through community tours, emails, calls outs and overall lead nurturing.
  • Fully utilize Enquire customer relations tool.
  • Meet or exceed daily, weekly and monthly targets for call in/outs, tours, presentations, conversions to tours, conversions to deposits, and conversions to move-ins.
  • Manage all incoming inquiries in alignment with CESLC inquiry, lead nurturing to close process. 
  • Acquire all necessary documentation required for move in and share with necessary departments as required. 
  • Prepare leases and other required paperwork and complete with the prospect prior to move-in.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key referral sources in the marketplace.
  • Maintain a collaborative working environment with management, staff, residents, families, visitors, volunteers, the public and other professionals.  Other sales and marketing team members are expected to work collaboratively in a mutually supportive environment with focus on Team Goals.
  • Develop in coordination with your Executive Director and Director of Sales a Quarterly Sales and Marketing Plan.
  • Execute external sales marketing activities as determined by the sales and marketing plan.
  • Provide support to Director of Sales in managing events for potential prospects and referral sources in coordination as determined by your sales and marketing plan.
  • Provide support to Sales Counselors from other CESLC Communities for vacation, sick time and as requested, in coordination with your Director of Sales.
  • Meet and achieve sales performance goals quarterly and annually.
  • Serve on, participate in and attend various committees of the organization as appointed.
  • Actively contribute in all meetings to assist in process improvement and improvement of customer services and experiences.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • REQUIRED: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations or related human service field or equivalent experience.
  • REQUIRED: Minimum of 3 years of sales experience promoting services and providing community outreach for a long-term care provider, senior housing entity or related health care organization.
  • Documented history of meeting sales and census goals.
  • Fluency in MS Office products: MS Word, MS excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook.
  • Exceptional demonstrated written and oral communication skills in the English language.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
  • Exceptional recognition of ethical and legal requirements of confidentiality in handling of sensitive information and situations.
