OUR FRONT DESK SUPERVISOR POSITION
The primary purpose of the Front Desk Supervisor job is to plan, organize, develop and direct the overall operation of the Front Desk in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations that govern our facility. To assure that the highest degree of quality care can be provided to our residents at all times. As the Front Desk Manager, you are delegated the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary for carrying out your assigned duties.

LOCATION
This position is based at our Wasserman Building, located at 6121 Montrose Road, Rockville, MD 20852.
SHIFTS & STATUS
This is a FULL TIME, HOURLY position. Flexible hours between 7a-6pm, the ability to fill in on alternative shifts if needed.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Basic knowledge of front desk procedures, regulations and current applicable laws, as well as procedures to follow during emergency situations.
- Ability to make independent decisions while dealing tactfully with staff, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public.
- Able to plan, organize, develop, implement and interpret the front desk programs, goals, objectives, policies, procedures, etc.
- Skills to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing practices.
- Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.
- Must understand the principles of continuous quality improvement.
- Must have, as a minimum, 2 (two) years of experience in a supervisory capacity in an office setting.
- Excellent customer service skills
- Some formal education preferred
